Learning to play the guitar in High School really opened Matt's eyes to what it felt like to be creative. "I got hooked on that feeling of taking something from scratch and having no limitations on what could be created."
Learning the Art of Chainsaw Carving is a perfect melting pot for all of his passions.
"Everyday I get to be creative while being surrounded by nature, it's great!!" Matt always tries his best to use trees that have fallen in storms, needed to be removed for safety reasons, or that otherwise would have been discarded. He also uses electric chainsaws on most of his projects.
